Dr. Gerald Schell Has More Experience with Spine Than Other Specialists
Being one of the most preeminent minimally invasive spine surgeons, Dr. Gerald Schell roots stem from the Thumb of Michigan. He uses advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques for the vast majority of his patients with spinal disc disease. He believes that these techniques allow the spine surgeons to achieve the same goals of open surgery while minimizing the collateral damage associated with the open approaches. Pertaining to his current profession, Gerald is currently playing a leading international role in the experimental development of single-level and two-level artificial discs for cervical disk problems. He is involved with numerous other collaborative scientific endeavors to help advance neurosurgical care.
