Dr. Gerald Schell received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine before completing a neurosurgical rotation at Syracuse University. The university later offered him the directorship of its neurosurgical training program, which he declined to continue caring for the needs of Michigan patients. Dr. Schell was honored with the Spirit of St. Vincent Award. He works to the best of his ability to help develop surgical techniques that are being used around the world.
Dr. Gerald Schell completed a residency at S U N Y Upstate Medical University Hospital. He currently practices at Minimally Invasive Asc and is affiliated with Ascension St Marys Hospital. Being a board-certified in Neurosurgery, Gerald accepts multiple insurance plans.
Being highly passionate about this field, Dr. Schell works at Schell Spinal who works to develop surgical techniques that are being used around the world. He works for 80-100 hours a week and serves on the hospital’s Board of Directors.
